The Friends of Richton Park Foundation was founded in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by seven dedicated board members. Our mission is to support the Village of Richton Park in building a safe, healthy, and thriving community where youth, seniors, and families can grow, connect, and prosper.

 

We are committed to:

 

• Providing scholarships that encourage higher education and reward students who demonstrate academic achievement, strong character, and a passion for learning.

• Offering quality programs and resources for both youth and seniors to enrich their lives and opportunities.

• Supporting families through initiatives that strengthen our community as a whole.

The Friends of Richton Park Scholarship is designed to inspire and reward local students who excel academically and exemplify exceptional character. By helping to ease the financial burden of higher education, we empower tomorrow’s leaders to achieve their goals and give back to the community.

 

How We Raise Funds

 

We host a variety of events and fundraisers throughout the year to support our mission. These include:

 

• The President’s Golf Outing

• Community fundraisers

• Walks and runs

• Contests and promotions

• Other special events

 

Through these efforts, we not only raise funds but also build connections and strengthen the sense of community in Richton Park.
